What does “qué negra me pones” mean in Spanish?

Peninsular Spanish has a vivid anger idiom: qué negra me pones, literally “how black you make me.” It expresses extreme irritation. The “negra” here refers to mala leche (“bad milk,” a common Spanish metaphor for anger), not skin tone. It’s roughly equivalent to “you drive me crazy” or “you really piss me off” in English, and lands stronger than its Latin American counterparts.

The clip pairs it with the threat construction como + subjunctive: Como se te ocurra salir... (“If it occurs to you to leave...”). Hearing both patterns in a conflict scene tells you instantly that you’re listening to Spain Spanish, not Mexico or Argentina.
