What is the Gadar handpump scene?

In Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), directed by Anil Sharma, Sunny Deol plays a Punjabi truck driver who, in the film’s most famous scene, rips a metal handpump out of the ground bare-handed and uses it as a weapon. The scene has become one of the most-imitated moments in Hindi cinema, and “हैंडपंप उखाड़ देना” (“to rip out the handpump”) now serves as Indian shorthand for an over-the-top burst of male rage.

This clip turns the meme on its head: a man fights with his wife, rips a handpump out in his own yard, and oil gushes out instead of water. He gets rich. The bit only lands because Hindi speakers recognize the Gadar reference.
