What does “indomi” mean in Iraqi Arabic?

In Iraqi Arabic, the noun اندومي (indomi) has stopped meaning “Indomie brand instant noodles” and started meaning instant noodles in general. It’s a brand-as-genericized-word, the way Americans say “Kleenex” for any tissue or “Xerox” for any photocopy. Iraqis ask for indomi expecting any brand will do.
