Explicación sencilla y divertida de la materia oscura

Does “oscuro” mean evil or just hidden in Spanish?
English speakers reach for “dark” as a shorthand for sinister, so oscuro looks like an easy match. But in Spanish its core idea is the absence of light or clarity, which stretches into “unseen,” “little-known,” and “not transparent” far more often than “wicked.” A personaje oscuro is obscure, a pasaje oscuro is confusing, and procesos oscuros are shady or non-transparent dealings. For true moral evil, Spanish reaches instead for malvado, maligno, or perverso.
The clip stacks three of these senses in one breath. Materia oscura (dark matter) is “dark” only because it neither emits nor reflects light, so it stays invisible — unseen, not evil. The same logic let Lord Kelvin label undetected stars cuerpos oscuros. Then the sponsor promises a plan you can cancel “sin procesos oscuros ni misteriosos” — no hidden, opaque catches. One adjective, three flavors of “out of sight,” zero of them meaning “bad.”
