كني دشيت جهنم (kanni dasheet jahannam), literally “as if I’d entered hell,” is the everyday Arabic exaggeration for any rough experience. A Gulf student says it in this clip after a hard exam. Religious-imagery hyperbole runs through Arabic conversation broadly: exams, traffic, hot weather, and in-laws all routinely get described as “hell.”
