סבתא בישלה דייסה ולא נשאר לליאם

What does “savta bishla daysa” mean in Hebrew?
סבתא בישלה דייסה — “Grandma cooked porridge” — is Israel’s classic palm-and-fingers baby game, its cousin of “this little piggy.” The adult traces a stirring circle on the child’s palm, then folds down one finger per line as Grandma doles out porridge — to Mom, to Dad, to the neighbor — until the last, littlest one gets none. Then the fingers “walk” (הלך, הלך, הלך…) up the arm for the tickle.
בישלה is “she cooked” — the ־ה ending marks a female doer in the past tense. דייסה (daysa) is porridge, still the everyday word Israeli parents use for baby cereal. And listen for the drumbeat of נתנה ל… — “she gave to…” — a tiny grammar drill hiding inside a tickle game.
