What does “点多少转多少” mean in Chinese?

点多少转多少 (diǎn duōshao zhuǎn duōshao)
Chinese echo-question grammar
however much you order, that’s how much I transfer

A couple plays a game: she taps in an order, he pays — 点多少转多少, “order however much, I transfer that much.” The trick is the repeated question word. 多少 (“how much”) appears twice, and the second echoes the first: whatever the amount, that amount. Chinese builds “whatever / whoever / wherever” exactly this way, with no extra words: 吃多少拿多少 — “take as much as you’ll eat.”

The pattern works with every question word: 谁想去谁去 (“whoever wants to go, goes”), 你去哪儿我去哪儿 (“wherever you go, I go”). The other half of the phrase is modern life in one character: 转 (zhuǎn), short for 转账 — to transfer money by phone, the everyday verb of mobile payments.
