What does “una caca de” mean in Spanish?

Castilian Spanish has a casual, child-coded way to call something low quality: una caca de + noun, literally “a poop of [thing].” A una caca de crema is a “crappy cream”; una caca de coche, “a crappy car.” The phrase is informal, family-friendly enough for kids to use, and rare in Latin American Spanish (which prefers una porquería de or una mierda de). The diminutive playful tone fits Spain’s wider habit of softening complaints with throwaway phrasing.
